The 13 courses being offered this year at the 2017 Funeral Directors Convention and Expo have all been approved or submitted for applicable accreditation to the necessary licensing authorities. The programming includes:

10 Electives (1 CEU per course)

1 Funeral Directing Ethics (1 CEU)

2 New York Law (One, two-part seminar; 2 CEUs)

All seminars are accredited through the New Jersey Funeral Service Education Corporation (NJFSEC). The NJFSEC evaluates each seminar to ensure quality and relevance to funeral service. Unless noted otherwise, all presentations have been approved for one (1) CEU from the New Jersey State Board of Mortuary Science and .1B CEU from the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice (APFSP).

Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice (Provider #1022)

All 13 courses are approved by the APFSP for .1B CEU each.

Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island

According to applicable state laws or regulations, all 13 courses approved by the APFSP are applicable toward the continuing education requirements in Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island.

New Jersey

11 courses (10 Electives + 1 Funeral Directing Ethics) are approved by the New Jersey State Board of Mortuary Science for 1 CEU each. New York Law is not approved in New Jersey.

New York

12 courses (9 Electives + 1 Ethics + 2 NY Law courses) are approved by the New York Licensing authority for 1 CEU each. Bringing Leads into Your Sales Pipeline (Filhaber) is not accredited in New York.

Maryland

11 courses (10 Electives + 1 Funeral Directing Ethics) are approved by the Maryland licensing authority for 1 CEU each. New York Law is not accredited in Maryland.

Virginia (Provider #0520000051)

11 courses (10 Electives + 1 Funeral Directing Ethics) are approved by the Virginia licensing authority for 1 CEU each. New York Law is not accredited in Virginia.
